SOUP
RECIPE: Basic Vegetable Broth


5-carrots, chopped 
2-stalks celery with leaves, chopped 
2-onions, chopped 
3 to 4-cloves garlic, peeled
1-bay leaf
1-tsp salt and peppercorns
12-cups water
Any veggies in the fridge that aren't too strong, chopped 


Bring all ingredients to a boil, lower heat, and simmer gently for 45 mins to one hour
Strain
Adjust seasoning.
