SNACK
RECIPES: Peanut Butter Fingers
Bars:
1-cup all purpose flour
1-cup rolled oats
1/2-cup sugar
1/2-cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/2-tsp baking soda
1/4-tsp salt
1/2-cup margarine, softened
1/3-cup peanut butter
1/2-tsp vanilla
1-egg |
Frosting:
1-cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/3-cup powdered sugar
2-tbsp peanut butter
3-5 tsp milk |
Heat oven to 350*
Grease a 13 x 9 inch pan
In a large bowl, combine all bar ingredients, blending at a slow speed until it forms a
soft dough
Press into bottom of greased pan
Bake at 350* for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown
Sprinkle immediately with chocolate chips, spread evenly to cover
Let stand 5 minutes
In a small bowl, combine remaining frosting ingredients, adding enough milk for desired
drizzling consistency
Drizzle over chocolate
Cool completely
Cut into bars
Makes 36 bars
