RECIPE: Mamma's
Mussels
2 tbsp. olive oil
2 tbsp. butter
3 cloves minced garlic
1 small onion, minced
2 tbsp. chopped parsley
4 basil leaves, chopped
1/4 tsp oregano
1/4 tsp pepper
36 mussels
1 cup dry white wine
In deep saucepan, place oil, butter, garlic, onion, parsley, basil, oregano, & pepper
Stir & heat gently for 10 min
Add mussels & wine
Cover saucepan, & turn up heat until boils
Let simmer for 8 min or until shells open
