GLUTEN FREE RECIPE:
Brownies

1-cup melted butter or margarine
2-cups brown sugar
2-eggs (beaten)
2-tsp vanilla
1-cup walnuts
1-cup G.F. flour
4-tbsp cocoa
1/2-tsp xantham gum


Grease a 9 x 13 inch pan
Preheat oven to 325F
Melt butter or margarine, add brown sugar, beaten eggs, vanilla and nuts
Sift together flour, xantham gum and cocoa and add to mixture
Pour into greased pan
Bake 15 to 20 minutes
While still warm ice with chocolate icing.

Chocolate Icing

2 cups icing sugar (G.F.)
4 tbsp cocoa
2 tsp melted butter or margarine
2 tsp vanilla
4 tbsp boiling water


Mix icing sugar and cocoa together
Stir in butter and vanilla
Then add boiling water, and continue to beat until smooth
Spread over warm brownies
These brownies can be frozen
