DESSERT
RECIPE:
Cherry Cheesecake
Crust:
1 1/4-cup graham cracker crumbs
2-tbsp sugar
1/3-cup butter or margarine, melted
Filling:
2-8oz packages cream cheese, softened
1/2-cup sugar
2-eggs
1-tsp vanilla extract
1-21oz can cherry pie filling
In a small bowl combine the cracker crumbs and sugar
Stir in the melted butter
Press into an 8-inch square baking dish & set aside
In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar until smooth
Beat in eggs and vanilla until just blended
Pout over crust
Bake in a 350*F oven for 15-20 minutes or until almost set
Cool for 1 hour on a wire rack
Refrigerate for 8 hours or overnight
Spoon pie filling on top
Serve
