CANNING RECIPE:
Dill Pickles

This recipe lists the ingredients per jar

On bottom of jar, place
2-cloves of garlic
2-pieces of carrot (1 inch length)
2-bay leaves
1-tsp mustard seed
2-slices of jalapeno pepper (optional)
Fresh dill


Pack jar with cucumbers

On top of jar put
1-tbsp brown sugar
1-tbsp pickling spice

Boil 1-cup vinegar to 3-cups water and pour into jar leaving a 1/2" headspace
Wipe and seal
Place the jar in canner with water 1 to 2" above top
Bring to a boil and process for 15 minutes
Remove and cool
